Kevin Bentley, Director - Kevin is a co-founder of Mosaic Publicity. Prior to launching the company he spent 20 years working for the BBC, the latter half as a reporter and producer with BBC Look East and the East at Westminster. He has also worked for numerous local radio stations, including BBC Essex, along with Radios 1,2 and 4, and was a sub-editor for the BBC Ceefax service. In 1998 he was elected as the National President of Round Table and is the former Chairman of the Round Table Trust. He delivers media training to numerous organisations and is an experienced after-dinner speaker and presenter. |

Karen Ainley, Director - Karen is a co-founder of Mosaic Publicity. She began as a reporter on the Braintree and Witham Times, before moving to the Colchester Evening Gazette. In 1991 she joineed BBC Essex before moving to BBC Look East as a TV reporter and presenter. She has a
BA (Hons) in Publishing and Computing and is a podcasting expert, having written a mini guide to podcasting for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Karen is an experienced media trainer, and was President of North Essex Chamber of Commerce in 1999. She is Vice-Chairman of Communicators in Business (Eastern region). |

| Rachel Hillier, Office Manager - Rachel is responsible for looking after the Mosaic office and team. She is a highly organised individual, who revels in arranging events for Mosaic Publicity's clients. Rachel was rewarded with promotion to the board of management
because of her skills and expertise.
She previously worked in London for a
global insurance company as the Director's PA. She has the Higher Diploma in Administrative & Secretarial Procedures and attends numerous courses in employment legislation and other office-related subjects to ensure her knowledge is kept up to date. |

Rechenda Smith, Account Director - Rechenda is the face of the CIPR's new marketing campaign and is a silver award winner of the CIPR Young Communicator of the Year award for the Eastern region. She has undertaken PR in-house for a housing association and for Colchester Institute, as well as for a London PR agency specialising in architecture, engineering, regeneration and housing. Rechenda has a BSc in Psychosocial Sciences and has achieved her
CIPR Diploma in Public Relations at London Metropolitan University. |

| Claire Owen, PR Account Manager - Claire is an experienced journalist who started her career on the North Wales Chronicle before moving to the Clacton Gazette and most recently the Essex County Standard in Colchester. She has a BA (Hons) degree from Keele University in English Literature and American Studies, and an NCTJ postgraduate diploma in print journalism. She has also worked for a variety of companies in administrative roles, which has given her strong organisational skills as well as a keen sense of time management. In her spare time she enjoys taking photographs and going to the theatre. |

Liz Somervell, PR Account Manager - Liz is an experienced PR professional, having worked in-house as a Press Officer for the BLISS charity (Baby Life Support Systems) and for a PR agency in the Midlands, where she handled a number of different business accounts. She has also worked for various FTSE 100 companies, including Reuters. Liz joined Mosaic Publicity in 2003 and enjoys creating PR campaigns, marketing materials and newsletters for her clients. Liz is an English Literature graduate and has undertaken a number of CIPR courses, including PR planning and strategy. |

Rodney Appleyard, Digital Account Manager - Rodney is in charge of setting up Mosaic’s new digital division. In 2005, he became the Editor of Australia’s first film based special effects magazine. He has also written regularly for The Big Issue (in Australia) and many other publications. Over the years, he has managed various websites as the Editor and helped FilmFour to create a new site as the Deputy Editor in 2000. Before joining Channel 4, he wrote about movies, Cult TV and education for the BBC. Rodney has a BA (hons) Broadcast Journalism degree and has produced many videos for websites. He has also worked for the charities Christian Aid and Amnesty International.

Gemma Rawlinson, PA and Event Manager - In her role of event manager, Gemma is responsible for co-ordinating a variety events for clients in addition to Mosaic’s own event, The Colchester Lecture. She has completed the CIPR event management course and has relevant experience in this area. Gemma is PA to the Directors and looks after administration for the team. She previously worked for businesses in Essex and London and has a Higher Diploma in Administrative and Secretarial Procedures. Gemma enjoys giving presentations and public speaking. In her spare time, she is training to be a yoga instructor. |

Helen Wake, Training Manager - Helen is responsible for overseeing the booking of all Mosaic Publicity's media training courses and ensuring our trainers are well prepared for the courses they deliver. This includes gathering information on delegates and preparing relevant and timely scenarios, as well as booking the training facilities. She also enjoys and is skilled at event management. Helen was formerly a National Training Co-ordinator for Shell UK and spent some years as a freelance administrator. She has a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance. |

Rachael Bilby, Marketing Executive - Rachael is working part-time for Mosaic Publicity while studying for a BSc (Hons) Marketing Innovation degree which she is undertaking at Essex University. Rachael has always been motivated towards achieving a strong business career, enjoys a challenge and has a keen interest in the world of PR and marketing, especially in relation to the use of technology in new media. She also has a creative eye and particularly enjoys art and design. She was named as "Miss Charity" by Essex FM after raising more than £3,000 through fund-raising. |
