Who’s behind the mask? That’s the question everyone will
be asking at Colchester’s most glamorous party of the year, the Mosaic
Masquerade Ball.
The event is being organised by Colchester-based PR
agency Mosaic Publicity on April 23rd, as part of its 10th
anniversary celebrations to raise £10,000 for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Karen Ainley, Chief Executive at Mosaic Publicity said:
“We want to commemorate our 10th anniversary with some really
memorable and fun events that also contribute to the community and a worthy
charitable cause.
“We have chosen to support Guide Dogs for the Blind after
having learnt just how many thousands of pounds it requires to train a puppy
and support a trained guide dog throughout its life.”
Mosaic Publicity Chairman Kevin Bentley added: “By hosting
a series of enjoyable events that everyone can be a part of, we hope to raise
as much money as possible to enable us to sponsor one, if not two, guide dog
puppies to help the lives of those with impaired sight in the near future.”
The company’s calendar of events has already included a
clothes swap and media master class which have made a great start to the
campaign, together raising over £1,300.
Mosaic Publicity’s masquerade ball is set to be a magical
evening and is being held at the award winning Le Talbooth restaurant in Dedham
on Friday 23rd April from 7pm. Tickets are on sale now and include a divine three course dinner and an
evening of fun, frolics and festivities – including a string quartet, disco,
charity auction and raffle.
The owner of Colchester party supply company, Bags O’ Fun
Paul Jackson, has kindly offered to donate 15% of every masquerade mask sale to
the cause.
