Experiencing PR agency life

A big thank you to multimedia journalism student Evelina Mezennaja, who spent a five-day placement with us in the Mosaic office.

Evelina, who is in the final year of her BA degree at the University of Essex, joined us in client meetings, inputted creative ideas for some exciting campaigns we’re working on, conducted research for blogs and press releases, plus wrote several blog posts about marketing and sustainability for a project we’ll be unveiling soon.

Here is what she had to say:

“The placement at Mosaic was an interesting and helpful experience. I’ve learn a lot about how PR agencies work and about marketing strategies.

“Attending client meetings was incredibly interesting, it showed me how to communicate with clients, how to select the right questions to get the required information and how to properly and quickly take notes.

“I’ve written several blog posts and it was a helpful task which increased my researching and writing speed. The feedback I received was very helpful for my future study and work. Moreover, during the research for blogs I’ve learned a lot of curious information about the various topics I was writing about.”
