NHS

Overview

In 2019, Mosaic was commissioned by the NHS North East Essex CCG (now the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board) to communicate the restructuring of urgent care services with the general localised public .

This included the promotion of new Urgent Treatment Centres at Colchester Hospital and Clacton Hospital, as well as the national NHS 111 service.

A key element of the project was also to consult with and help educate the local population, providing important information on service changes and where to go for treatment – depending on ailment or injury.

Strategy

We consulted with the local community via focus groups to inform a comprehensive marketing strategy. This involved talking with a range of people from different target audience demographics, including parents and hard to reach/under represented communities, and was supported by a detailed report of findings.

Mosaic's PR and marketing campaign strategy and key messages, generated local PR coverage and involved us liaising with key community groups.

We produced a number of different marketing materials, including a clinician video, and these were promoted and distributed in partnership with various organisations.

Graphic design

We created advertising visuals, which featured local people mocked up with injuries and illnesses typically treated at an Urgent Treatment Centre. This concept was used to develop posters, roller banners, flyers and adverts for buses and local magazines.
