Colchester PR firm’s boss takes on new role

Colchester-based Mosaic Publicity’s Kevin Bentley has taken over the chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ East Anglia branch.

At the branch’s recent AGM at the Chesterford Research Park near Saffron Walden, he stepped into the shoes of Sue Wilcock who is standing down after two years in the role.

Mr Bentley, director of Mosaic, voted the most outstanding PR agency of 2007 in East Anglia by the CIPR, says: “Sue has done a great job but I’m pleased to say she’s not leaving us for good. She’s agreed to be the vice chair and I look forward to working with her in the future.”

Mr Bentley says: “I am delighted to be taking over this vibrant organisation in the East of England. Professional bodies such as ours are vital to keep the industry informed and working closely with the local media is one of our main aims. We play a crucial role in promoting our clients but also keeping journalists aware of the great work of companies and organisations in the region.”

A top training accolade has been awarded to one of the leading PR and media training firms in the East of England.

Mosaic Publicity has been recognised for its high-quality skills by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) after its three senior personnel were awarded the coveted ‘Approved Trainer’ status by the professional body.
